Experience with BBa_K587011
The design of this part was based in the article by Isaacs et al. (2004) with the objective to target and hybridize the loop formed by the Crx-wk. With the assumption that this mechanism works, yet we did not have the opportunity to test the whole construct part by part, hence we cannot prove that Crx-wk is as effective as expected. Transformed bacteria grew in selective media showing a successful transformation, but no further tests have been performed up to the moment.
